Milena Bonilla, Plano transitorio (Transitory Map), 2002 - 2004

This piece is a bus tour the artist made of a large section of the city (Bogotá), following different routes; in this mode of transportation it is common to find that the back seats have been cut open. In her journey, the artist carefully repaired these “wounds” with fine, delicate stitches.
